Abstract

Economic Engineering currently is an area that is intended to facilitate decision- making based on economic comparison of different technological alternatives for investment; and within it is considered that an important aspect for companies is the determination of the useful life of its assets for use in areas such as asset replacement or the permanence of their investments. Undoubtedly one of the areas that require further investment is the construction, Why it is considered necessary to know how you are operating in business, and that based on this fundamental part of it is determined their profits. The purpose of this research is to deepen the field of heavy machinery used in the construction company Vasil Tantoyuca constructions, Veracruz; in which one tries to analyze a backhoe, applying the method of straight-line depreciation and subsequently an analysis of replacement in order to determine possible profits that it can generate after completing its life cycle.
