Abstract

This research focuses on developing a model of PET collection in the municipality of Tantoyuca, Ver. This model has a large environmental, economic and social impact, as the City does not have any outside company that is interested in gathering of this material. in the develop the research use of industrial tools is made. Primarily a model called center of gravity that helped determine which location would be the most optimal for the implementation of the collection center in the City is used, then the collection system is model with the use of a genetic algorithm and fed with data provided by institutions and the Municipal Government of Tantoyuca.
