Abstract

This paper aims to develop a system for checking books in the library of the Higher Institute of Technology Tantoyuca, the proposal aims to replace the old system log books and / or students, which currently is done manually. This work consists of a platform with LabVIEW software that is user friendly, so that shows the control panel on the PC monitor when required to record a book or student, using thus the RFID system, where the sticky labels (tags) to place on each of the books and a fingerprint sensor that by this recognition and registration of students do use them. The information obtained by the sensor is sent to a system generated for storage in a database created in Microsoft Access from LabVIEW, to query records.
