The present investigation presents a contextualization of the apiculture supply chain of the municipality of Chicontepec, Veracruz, under a systemic approach using the methodology of Checkland. The information was obtained from interviews and surveys applied to municipal agents, beekeepers and experts in the area, with the aim of visualizing areas of opportunity and generating improvement proposals that range from the commercial perspective to the operational perspective of the beekeeping network.
