The present research work aims to disseminate specific knowledge in the design and manufacture of ergonomically suitable work tables for indigenous women bakers living in marginalized communities. Ergonomics is applied from the beginning of the research in order to improve the working conditions and occupational health of women, in such a way that the work tables are adapted as work stations for the production systems of artisan bakery under the suitable anthropometric conditions. Women artisans living in the communities of the southern region of the state of San Luis Potosí were taken as a case study, studies of ergonomic risks and determination of percentiles for the design of the tables were carried out.
