Abstract

The abilities of human beings can be very diverse, since each person is unique and acts differently in the same situation, influenced by their academic training, personal and professional experience. However, there are certain skills that, although not identical, tend to coincide in the performance of people who work in the same company and can be evaluated to determine their productivity. These skills include assertive communication, teamwork, time management and emotional intelligence. The main objective of this research is to identify if a company's personnel know and apply these skills, as well as how they relate them to their productivity and at what level of development they are. Consequently, we seek to determine what activities can be carried out to improve them. The research was carried out by applying an experiential workshop to directly observe the company's personnel, identifying who they are, how they relate and what skills they use. In addition, evaluations were applied through questionnaires. The results show that the majority of workers are moderately assertive, while a minority are assertive communicators. Regarding teamwork, it reflects that the vast majority apply integration and communication in their work, as well as leadership to achieve established objectives. In relation to time management, the majority were able to identify how to manage their time, some only became aware of this element, and others even realized that they make inappropriate use of it.
