The purpose of this research is to apply continuous improvement management tools to warehouse processes in a company dedicated to the commercialization of agricultural supplies in the Guasave, Sinaloa region, with the aim of streamlining tasks and improving inventory results by reducing merchandise shortages. The identified issue is the inefficiency caused by a lack of documentation and process establishment within the warehouse area, which has led to various problems such as merchandise shortages and surpluses, lack of organization and space, as well as the presence of non-value-added factors in processes and procedures, such as the absence of controls and supplier evaluation. To reduce these issues, management and quality tools were used, including the 5S methodology, process analysis, SWOT analysis, and Ishikawa diagram. With these tools, the main causes of inefficiencies in warehouse management have been determined. The project has improved internal communication and control of the area, meeting the established indicators as goals in annual audit reviews. Therefore, it is proposed to continue the implementation of these types of actions.
