Optimization of the improvement module of the Integrated Management System of a rural educational institution using web technologies

Nowadays, educational institutions around the world are seeking to have a greater reach through Internet-based means. Institutions that are distributed in rural contexts have a disadvantage, the infrastructure and technological resources are limited and, in many cases, precarious. This paper aims to show the research and development process that was carried out in the implementation of the Integrated Management System, Web Version 1.0, in a rural higher education institution. It carried out the distinct stages of a formal development using the Cascade methodology and carried out a series of local and Internet tests, capturing a total of 24 records from the last year and corresponding to the last quality audit of the institution carried out. As a result, it is concluded that the system developed meets the established requirements and has an acceptable level of information security for the institution and can be implemented permanently in the institutional web platform.
