Abstract

Industrial safety in an organization is of vital importance, since every company must always be clear about the aspects of responsibility it has with workers. For this, the necessary measures to generate a safe work environment must be taken into account.

This is why it implements a semi-automated system for the addition of chemical substances, since the company where it was implemented works with substances such as; nitric acid, sulfuric acid, and sodium hydroxide. Therefore, an analysis was carried out to determine the factors that influence the generation of risk. This system allows the dosing of substances which are conducted in a safe and controlled way from a tank installed in the lower part to the process tanks at a height of 2.40 meters, this system replaced the previous addition system, since it was carried out in Manual way, that is, the operators were in charge of emptying the substances, which could cause very important health risks.
