Abstract

The work carried out consisted of applied research and under an experimental research design with the aim of designing a prototype of an automated shower with temperature control, for this different tests were carried out that allowed to observe the performance of a common shower and the difference when using the prototype in a pilot test. In this project due to the situation of the COVID19 pandemic, we worked only with the population of the community of Pared Gruesa de Chapulhuacán, Hidalgo with the intention of collecting some important data for the development of this research, among the instruments that were applied is a survey, which was applied to a representative per family of the aforementioned community,  to obtain data on water consumption. Subsequently, the information was complemented through the application of the observation technique, in order to record data on the operation of the boilers, once registered and analyzed, this served as the basis for the construction of a prototype of an automatic shower that allows to regulate the temperature of the water when opening and closing the faucets automatically,   this was achieved by installing a water temperature sensor. Finally, a pilot test was carried out on a shower built specifically for the prototype and observed its operation. It is worth mentioning that the results shown are limited only to the design phase of the prototype.
