This work presents the project of designing, programming, simulating and CNC machining of an assembled industrial piece, as a didactic strategy in students of the subject of Computer Integrated Manufacturing of the specialty of manufacturing of the industrial engineering career in ITCM. Through this strategy students apply automated technology of vanguard in the manufacturing industrials products, from designing till the machined of the piece. For this, they’re used conventional machine tools and the cells of flexible manufacturing of the automated production system that are found in the Laboratory of Manufacturing of the Institute, as well as design software. The industrial piece is a compound assembly for a machined piece in a CNC turning center and a piece machined in a CNC machined center.
