Abstract

At present, the oil fields of "Aceite Terciario del Golfo (ATG)" represent one of the largest volumes of reserves in the northern area of our country, and constitute about 40% of the national hydrocarbons reserve. However, the development of projects in service to wells represents a challenge due to the complexity at the petroleum and geological level. Within this professional residency report, the intervention process is exposed to the Escobal 197 well located in the northwest of the state of Puebla, which operates through a hydraulic pumping system. Likewise, the procedures of the operations that consist of mechanical operations and taking of information of bottom pressures, and of temperature with the purpose is to carry out the maintenance and productivity of the well. Considering the criteria and conditions of the chosen well, a steel line is used as part of the well service. Using a reel with steel wire of special use through the force that a Diesel engine prints, it has a counter system that allows to measure the length of it that comes out of the inside of the reel that is inserted into the well; It has a weight indicator system that shows the behavior of the weight of the tools when lowering inside the well and during the extraction of these towards the surface, this has allowed to maintain production by increasing hydrocarbons.
