Nowadays, lean manufacturing systems have become the basic tools for manufacturing companies that want to remain competitive and profitable in this globalized world, in these times it requires other systems and methods to stay competitive and therefore profitable. Production systems should be optimal for any small, medium or large industry. In such a way that it conford the workers and minimize the risks in the work. The present investigation was carried out in the Hermanos Rodríguez saddlery, whose main purpose was the realization of saddles and work with bull leather, in whose research lean manufacturing principles were applied to optimize the manufacturing process of that company, with the objective of improving working conditions.
