Design and implementation of a procedure manual for the corrective maintenance of hydraulic cylinders

The document presents the project for the design and implementation of a Manual of procedures for the corrective maintenance of hydraulic cylinders, whose objective is to develop and execute a methodology that allows employees to apply a standardization in the activities of the process, since there is a request of a client that requires the service of the revision and diagnosis of the state of one hundred hydraulic cylinders, therefore, a systematic organization is necessary that allows to perform this service and provide quality maintenance to the client. In the operational area there is a notable loss of resources and time due to not having a procedure to guide them in the development of their activities, mainly in the identification of equipment failures for their valuation and delivery of the respective quote to the client. The application of the manual resulted in the optimization of resources by reducing downtime and providing control to the Operations department, increasing its efficiency in the disassembly of equipment for diagnosis by 52.5%. The company will also benefit from the generation of documentary evidence for future internal and external audits.
