One of the main objectives that companies have, regardless of their size and the sector to which they belong, is to sell the products and / or services they offer, as well as getting customers to buy them constantly. The commercial sector is the sector that has the most influence on Mexico's economic activity. The MSMEs represent great importance for the economy, since they generate jobs, boost the trade of new products, meet needs, generate competitiveness in the market, provoke supply and demand, which generates the development and growth of the economy. However, the commercial sector is one of the most vulnerable in the face of constant technological and commercial changes. Companies of this type do not generate marketing strategies that allow them to increase their indicators of purchase, sale, transportation, storage and updating of market information, as well as not establishing strong links between the producer and the client through the goods. offered, causing a decrease in demand and putting activities at risk, as well as operations in the market. This research arises with the objective of determining the importance of generating marketing strategies to support the development and growth of MSMEs in the commerce sector in Tantoyuca, Ver. According to the methodology used, it will be of a qualitative and quantitative nature, being documentary and of field the type of research, as well as cross-sectional and correlational type of study.
